Tips in the Field
Never punch holes in the ears for tags
If possible, do not get the hide wet

Cut about 8 inches behind the shoulder area
Skin towards the armpits, cut up the back of leg or skin the leg out whole

Skin up the neck as high as possible, then cut off head

Freeze whole in a plastic bag
Do not skin or gut anything smaller than a coyote
